Right Now, the small things that I love...

These are a few of the things that I'm in love with at the moment; my rolls of washitape (you just can't get too many of these), my new metal box for fine chocolate and other good stuff (a gift from my sweet sister) and that good cup of cappuccino with a couple of chocolate cookies in the afternoon is a must have:)

Remembering Our Summervacation...

While going through a lot of pics from the last couple of months I found these from a summer trip to a small Swedish town by the Baltic sea. DH and I had a wonderful time there, great food (a lot of delicious fish dishes on the menu), warm weather and such a beautiful scenery. Oh, and a pic of some of my pelargoniums at home too...

I'm working on some scrapbooking pages, with project life as inspiration, but month by month instead of weekly. These are a couple of journaling cards I've printed out for these layouts. In the second and third cards I've used graphics from Allison Kreft Abad's Echo Park kit "Everyday Eclectic". I've got both the paper version and the digital one from Jessica Sprague's digital shop. A great kit, beautiful colors.

A Week in My Life...

I'm very inspired by Project Life at the moment, this is just a simple digital layout with pics from this week. Although I'm planning a hybrid version...

Autumn is here, which I really enjoy. I love this time of the year, the clear air, the beautiful colors and those cozy moments inside with a homemade cappuccino when it's raining and blowing outside. Those gorgeous flowers smells like heaven and comes from my mum's garden...

A Simple Birthday Card...

Finally I'm making some creative stuff, this weekend I started making cards and even began working on a scrapbooking page (traditional paperwork, not digital). And I had so much fun:) Sometimes you're just full of energy and inspiration. Feels great!

Here's a birthday card I've made, I've used a clear stamp set from My Little Shoebox called "City by the Bay" and embossed it with white embossing powder (Zing, American Crafts). I was inspired by this card from Kristina Werner. She used Copic markers in soft pastel colors on some parts of the embossed areas with stunning results. As I haven't got any Copic markers I used my Brushables instead, although that didn't work out so well, it wouldn't stick to the embossed areas and I had to use a paper tissue to remove some of the color. Have to buy me some Copic markers!
